These photographs are from the birth story of my nephew. In the middle of a scorching Arab summer, my cousin gave birth to her first child at the Dubai City Hospital. The photos are meant to capture the anticipation, difficulty, exhaustion, and relief that came with bringing an incredible new life into this world.
